We understand that beginning fertility treatment can be a stressful time for you and your partner. Everyone’s path to parenthood is unique. For this reason, your first visit to Michigan Reproductive Medicine is intended to be one that is informative, efficient and highly personalized in order to provide you the most effective care possible in a compassionate and convenient manner.
During your first visit, you will meet with Dr. Mersol-Barg who has already reviewed your medical history and records. He will share his thoughts based on this preliminary information. You and he will discuss any past treatment, ask and answer questions, consider options and develop an initial plan for testing and/or treatment. Next, you may meet with a nurse to review your recommended testing or treatment plan and help you schedule necessary procedures. You may also meet with one of our front office coordinators to help you understand the extent of your benefits and the estimated cost of treatment so that you can consider your next step. We do our best to answer your questions and provide helpful information.
Our objective is to have this infertility consultation and your treatment be as successful as possible by providing you answers and results quickly and efficiently. The best way to obtain the answers you want is to provide us with as much information as possible about your medical history and previous test or treatment results.
